Salman Haider

Mr. Salman Haider is a Chief Distribution Officer, Head of ASEAN & Chief Executive Officer at Eastspring Investments (Singapore) Ltd. He is also a member of the firm’s Executive Management Committee.
He is responsible for the firm’s global distribution business and leads its business relationship management with Prudential Life.
He also has management responsibilities for the firm’s ASEAN markets, covering Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia, as well as Singapore, Japan and the Americas.
Mr. Haider's career spans over 25 years across EMEA and Asia, particularly within Wealth Management in addition to Retail Banking, Corporate Banking and Global Markets.
During 12-years at Citi (2001 – 2010, 2015 – 2018), he held various roles in London, Zurich and Singapore, most recently running the U.K.
Consumer Bank and International Personal Banking EMEA businesses.
In 2010, he joined J.P.
Morgan Singapore as Head of South East Asia PWM where he built the HNW business for the firm.
In 2018, he joined Barclays Private Bank in London as the International Private Bank Head (ex-Europe), responsible for Africa, Middle East, India onshore and Asia.
He was Chief Executive Officer for the Global Wealth Management business at Habib Bank AG Zurich from 2021 to 2024, before joining Eastspring in March 2024.
He holds an MSc in Finance from Cass Business School in London and a BA in Economics & Political Science from the University of Punjab in Pakistan.
