CRMC-FII manages fixed income portfolios that seek to capture the risk and return characteristics of other investment vehicles with the same investment strategy. To manage this type of portfolio, they implement a proprietary solution that utilizes a commercially available third-party risk model to help identify the characteristics of the underlying holdings of the strategy. The firm’s fixed-income investment strategy takes a more top-down view of the factors impacting the markets. Core fixed-income portfolios are constructed based on duration, sector allocation and security selection.
