Lead Equities is an active, medium- to long-term manager which invests in later-stage, medium-sized companies in various sectors including automotive, engineering, electronics, health care and consumer. The firm focuses on investments in Austria and bordering EC countries, typically targeting Austrian mid-market 'old-economy' companies. They seek to invest in established companies with a successful management team, a strong market position and growth potential in situations where they can add substantial value, such as expansion and development, buy-and-build, successions, MBOs and MBIs. Lead Equities partners with their investee companies, usually assuming non-executive director positions and helping to support their strategic and operational challenges by providing a specialized know-how and experience including acquisition financing, M&A, IPOs and corporate restructuring. The firm's Management Team structures and executes their investments.
