John Schierman

John Schierman is a member of The Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers, Inc., The American Society of Naval Engineers, Inc., and American Institute of Aeronautics & Astronautics.
He was a Faculty Research Associate at the University of Maryland from 1994 to 1997.
He was also a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the American Society For Engineering Education.
He worked as a Principal Research Scientist at Barron Associates, Inc. Dr. Schierman earned his doctorate degree from Arizona State University in 1996, his graduate degree from Purdue University in 1988, and his undergraduate degree from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1984.
Currently, Dr. Schierman holds positions at The Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers, Inc., The American Society of Naval Engineers, Inc., and American Institute of Aeronautics & Astronautics.
