Mr. Broadbent joined Emap in November 1997.
He was appointed Chairman in May 2001.
He was previously a Director of Schroders plc where he was latterly Group Managing Director Investment Banking based in New York.
He is currently a Non-Executive Director of Capital One Bank (Europe) plc, REL Consultancy Group Limited and the Academy of Ancient Music.
He is Chairman of the Nomination Committee.
