Robert M. Tobiassen

Robert M.
Tobiassen is Chief Counsel of Alcohol & Tobacco Tax & Trade Bureau.
He serves on the World Trade Organization.
Mr. Tobiassen started his career as Chief Counsel at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) in 1978.
He is a Member of the Senior Executive Service.
Previously, he served as Delegate for the International Office of Vine and Wine, Paris from 1992 to 2002.
He worked at the International Trademark Association and the Joint Committee on Taxation in 2002.
Mr. Tobiassen received an AB Political Science in 1975 from the University of California, Berkeley, a Master's of Law (Taxation) from the Georgetown University Law Center in 1982, and a JD from Lewis and Clark College, School of Law in 1978.
