Mr. Robertson P.
Breed, CFA MBA, is a Principal, Managing Director of Investment Advisory Services & Portfolio Manager at F.L.
Putnam Investment Management Co. He joined the firm in 1991 and is responsible for management of the firm’s Core U.S.
Equity Strategy.
In addition, Mr. Breed is Co-Chair of the firm’s Asset Allocation Committee and provides support to the firm-wide investment process, including both fundamental and technical research.
He has over 35 years of experience implementing investment policy, constructing portfolios and counseling individuals, families, endowments and foundations.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Breed gained a broad range of experience in equity, fixed income and derivatives trading as a member of E.F.
Hutton's Principal Training Program, where he was positioned as an Institutional Equity Trader for Hutton.
Mr. Breed received his BA Economics from Bowdoin College and an MBA from The Leonard N Stern School of Business.
He is a CFA charter holder.
