Peter Allen

Peter Allen is Vice Chairman of Northwest Territories Power Corp., President of the Nexus Group and a Director of the Smart Communities and the Yellowknife Direct Charge Cooperative.
Prior to his current positions, he was Co-Chairman of the Living History Committee of the Yellowknife Direct Charge Cooperative.
Mr. Allen joined the Government of the Northwest Territories in 1976 and served as Director of the Program Evaluation Division from 1976 to 1979 and a Cabinet Secretary to the Priorities and Planning Committee from 1979 to 1985.
He was an Executive Director of the Devolution Office at the Department of the Executive from 1986 to 1989 and an Assistant Deputy Minister to the Department of Economic Development and Tourism from 1989 to 1993.
Mr. Allen received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dalhousie University in 1972 and an MBA from the Shulitz Business School in 1975.
