Hawks was the founder of Argyle Television, Inc. (1992) and Cumberland Capital Corp.
(1987) where he held the title of President.
Currently, he serves on the Board of Directors for Homerlearning, Inc., is a Director for Internet Broadcasting Co., and a Board of Director for VidMob, Inc. He is also a Member of Financial Executives International, The National Association of Corporate Directors (Connecticut), and Society for Corporate Governance, Inc. Additionally, he is the Treasurer & Trustee for Stanwich School, Inc., a Member of the Board of Advisors for Waggl, Inc., and a Venture Partner for Interlock Partners Management LLC.
Formerly, he was a Director for Share Rocket, Inc., Director-Endowment Fund for Gladney Center for Adoption, Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer for Hearst Television, Inc. (1992-2010), Chief Financial Officer & Executive Vice President for Stride, Inc. (2012-2013), and Chief Financial Officer for Argyle Television Holding, Inc. (1993-1995).
He was also a Member of the National Association of Broadcasters.
Mr. Hawks received his undergraduate and MBA degrees from Louisiana State University.
