Fang Yao

Dr. Fang Yao is a Senior Analyst at The Reserve Bank of New Zealand.
He is under the Research team in the Economics Department and joined the firm in 2013.
Prior to joining the firm, he was a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg.
He has also been a research visitor at the German Bundesbank, and Federal Reserve Banks of New York and Richmond.
Dr. Yao obtained his PhD in Economics from Humboldt University Berlin, Germany in 2010.
