James Ferland is Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer for PSEG Power LLC and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of PSEG Power LLC, PSEG Energy Holdings LLC and PSEG Services Corp.
and a Director of the Committee for Economic Development.
He has been Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Public Service Enterprise Group, Inc. since July, 1986 and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Public Service Electric & Gas Co. since September, 1991.
Prior to joining PSEG in 1986, he was President and Chief Operating Officer of Northeast Utilities.
Mr. Ferland was a Chairman of the New Jersey State Chamber of Commerce, the Metro Newark Chamber of Commerce, the Public Affairs Research Institute of New Jersey, the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations and the Electric Power Research Institute.
Previously, he was a Director of the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, the Edison Electric Institute, the American Gas Association, the Association of Edison Illuminating Cos., the New Jersey Utilities Association, The United Way of Tri-State, The HSB Group, Inc., Foster Wheeler Corp.
and the Nuclear Energy Institute.
Mr. Ferland received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maine in 1964 and an MBA from the University of New Haven in 1976.
