Mr. Dave Hays is a Director-Marketing at Caywood-Scholl Capital Management.
Prior to joining Caywood-Scholl in 2009, he was Co-Head of the Corporate Investment Grade Asset Management Team for Princeton Advisory Group.
He began his investment career at Harris Investment Management in Chicago as a credit analyst, later becoming a Principal and Senior Portfolio Manager.
In 1993, he joined CSI Asset Management where, as Vice President and Portfolio Manager, he was part of a team overseeing fixed income securities with responsibility for corporate and asset-backed securities.
He left CSI in 1995 to join Dresdner RCM as the Corporate Strategist, becoming a Director in 1996.
While at Dresdner RCM, Mr. Hays was responsible for determining and implementing the corporate sector strategy for the firm's fixed income assets, and he was a voting member of the Fixed Income Investment Policy Committee.
In 2002, he joined WestLB Asset Management-Houston as Head of High Grade Credit Research and Senior Portfolio Manager.
In addition to his other duties, in 2005 he was appointed Head of High Yield at WestLB-Houston.
Mr. Hays graduated from Bucknell University with a bachelors degree in Accounting and received an MBA in Finance and Economics from Northwestern University’s J.L.
Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
He holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation since 1983.
