With over thirty years of experience, Mr. Hovey has compiled an outstanding record of accomplishment as an investment advisor managing both debt and equity securities with expertise in dollar and non-dollar denominated portfolios.
Before joining Hovey, Youngman, he spent eight years with Chase Investors Management Corp.
as Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager and was a member of the International Investment Committee.
For the preceding ten years, he was with the Investment Division of Bankers Trust Co., concluding with five years as Manager of their Investment Department of Bankers Trust AG, Zurich.
In addition to his overseas experience, he brings to the firm a sensitivity to the global perspectives and investment objectives of international investment institutions.
Mr. Hovey is a member of the Brooks School Investment Committee.
Mr. Hovey is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, with a B.A. in Political Science.
