Previously, Mr. Mundy was President and Chief Executive Officer of the World USO from 1996 to 2000, Military Adviser to the President and Secretary of Defense from 1991 to 1995, a Member of the Board of Advisors to the Comptroller General of the United States, a Member of the Council on Foreign Relations and President of Worldwide Operations of the United Services Organization.
In 1953, he joined the Marine Corps, where he was appointed Joint Chiefs Staff Member in 1991 and served as Commandant from 1991 to 1995.
