Bing Sun

Mr. Sun graduated from Sichuan University in 1990 and received a Masters of Economics from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in 1998.
During his tenure at the Bank of Construction (Gansu Branch) and Chongqing International Trust and Investment Co, Mr. Sun successively occupied the posts of department manager, general manager of securities and vice president.
In 2000, Mr. Sun founded Southwest Securities Co., Ltd and became its president.
Starting from scratch, Mr. Sun spearheaded the growth of the team from 8 to 80, and the firm acted as either the lead or co-lead underwriter for more than 80 companies.
The firm ranked among the top five investment underwriters in China for five consecutive years.
Mr. Sun pioneered the concept of customer data integration and trading platforms, and promoted the wide-spread use of online trading.
Under Mr. Sun’s leadership, Southwest Securities became the first securities firm to engage the service of McKinsey Co. and also passed the ISO 9001 management certification.
