Steve Wong

Steve Wong joined HarbourVest in 2019 and focuses on growth equity and buyout co-investments in the Asia Pacific region.
Prior to joining the Firm, Steve spent eight years at TPG Growth, where he was a vice president focused on growth equity investments in China.
His prior experience also includes being a director at Rivendell Partners in Hong Kong, where he was focused on mid-market buyouts in Greater China.
He also held positions at McKinsey & Company, Thomson Reuters, and Arthur D.
Little Management Consulting.
Steve received a BS in Chemical Engineering in 1998 and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management in 2006, both from Northwestern University.
He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Steve speaks fluent Cantonese and Mandarin.
