Sailesh Ramakrishnan

Sailesh Ramakrishnan was the founder of Hownd, Inc., a company founded in 2011 where he held the title of Chief Technology Officer from 2011 to 2014.
He is currently working at Rocketship VC LLC as a Partner since 2014.
In his former positions, Mr. Ramakrishnan worked at Walmart Labs as a Director-Product Development from 2009 to 2011 and as a Director in 2011.
He also held the title of Principal at Milliways Ventures.
Mr. Ramakrishnan's education includes a graduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2001, a doctorate degree from the University of Michigan in 2005, a graduate degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University in 1995, and an undergraduate degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras in 1993.
