Roy Swainson

Roy Swainson is a solicitor by profession who spent a number of years in local government before becoming Chief Executive of Merseytravel.
In recent years, he has undertaken (and, in some cases continues to undertake) a variety of mainly non-executive directorships, including the UK Civil Aviation Authority, Greater Merseyside Enterprise and St Helens and Knowsley NHS Hospitals Trust.
He is a director of both MSIF and AFM and provides active relationship management with political and partner organisations on behalf of the MSIF Group of Companies.
