In addition to his role at InNOVAcorp, Mr. McCharles is a Managing Partner at Dillon Consulting Limited.
He was a founding director and past chair of ECO Canada and was profiled by this institution as one of the “Builders” of the environment sector in Canada.
In 1992 he became the first Nova Scotia recipient of the Canadian Council of Technicians and Technologists National Achievement Award.
Mr. McCharles is a founding director of the Coxheath Hills Wilderness Recreation Association, and chairs the Cape Breton Partnership Task Force on Local Economic Benefits and the Sydney Tar Ponds Remediation Project.
Mr. McCharles graduated from Cape Breton University with a degree in environmental engineering in 1977.
