Mr. Robert F.
Kania, Jr. CFA, is Vice President & Senior Portfolio Manager at SSgA Funds Management, Inc. Prior to joining SSgA Funds Management in 2000, he worked as a portfolio manager and analyst at Fleet Investment Advisors in Boston.
Preceding this, he managed the investment-grade sovereign fixed income research effort for Lehman Brothers in New York.
He has been working in the investment management field since 1990.
He also worked for Putnam Investments.
Mr. Kania received a BA from the College of the Holy Cross.
He has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
He is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society and CFA Institute.
