Bryce's over-arching investment philosophy is to manage investment portfolios that are consistent with and cognizant of their clients needs for growth, income and stability of principal. They seek to make long-term investments in companies that offer superior growth prospects and strong business fundamentals. Using careful research, drawing on many sources of information, Bryce formulates an investment thesis or rationale for making an investment commitment. The stock selection committee meets to evaluate the company's product set, earnings, management, market position, brand franchise and balance sheet as well as broad industry and economic data. Once a company has been chosen for investment, they consider the market conditions, valuation, sentiment and money flows of the security. The firm evaluates the market conditions daily and fundamentals on a regular basis, making sure that the determinates of growth are in place and in line with their forecasts. Bryce holds a weekly stock selection meeting where every position is reviewed.
