Michael J. Dobeck

Mr. Michael J.
Dobeck, Jr., is Vice President at The Beekman Group LLC.
He has responsibility for all real estate acquisition due-diligence as well as real estate related initiatives at TBG portfolio companies.
Prior to joining TBG in 2011, Mr. Dobeck was with publicly-traded REIT Acadia Realty Trust from 2004 until 2011 where he was responsible for leasing, asset management and the redevelopment of numerous assets.
Prior to Acadia, he was an asset manager with private equity group Argent Ventures where he was responsible for the redevelopment of a large mixed-use project.
He began his career in 1994 at Cleveland-based Forest City Enterprises.
He has more than 20 years' experience in retail, office and mixed-use real estate.
Mr. Dobeck received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Dayton and a Masters in Urban Planning, Design and Development from Cleveland State University’s Levin College of Urban Affairs.
