Matt Reibl

Matt Reibl is a Director of Portfolio Operations at Gemspring Capital.
Matt focuses on supporting companies on transformational initiatives led by the office of the CFO.
This includes organizational design and enhancement, reporting and budgeting, process effectiveness, technology efforts, M&A integration, and overall effectiveness of the finance team.
Prior to joining Gemspring, Matt spent over eight years at Blackstone in various leadership roles.
More recently, Matt was a Principal on the Private Equity Portfolio Operations team where he led finance transformation efforts across several portfolio companies.
Prior to that, Matt was a manager on Blackstone’s middle office finance team overseeing valuations, investor reporting, portfolio monitoring, and FP&A for various funds in the Private Equity segment.
Matt began his career in General Electric’s Financial Management Program (FMP) in the Aviation segment.
Matt then joined GE’s Corporate Audit Staff where he completed assignments in GE’s Capital, Energy, and International divisions ultimately progressing to Audit Manager.
Matt received a BS in Finance with minors in Accounting and Economics from Fairfield University.
