Marc Andrew Pentopoulos

Mr. Marc A. Pentopoulos, CFA MBA, is a Managing Partner at Vista Point Capital LLC.
He is the founder of the firm.
In this role he has success as an investor and has helped to secure investment capital, licenses, and partnerships for small life science companies.
He has over 20 years of experience investing in health care companies as well as working with small life sciences companies to help them develop their products, create pharmaceutical development and licensing partnerships, and finance their businesses.
In addition to his work at Vista Point Capital, Mr Pentopoulos is a managing director at Avalon Net Worth, where he holds his broker licenses.
Previously he was a partner at Symmetry Capital Management, a life science fund focused on investing in smaller public healthcare companies.
He joined Symmetry in 2010 where he co-founded the firm’s Parallax Biomedical Fund.
He began his investing career at EGM Capital.
Previously served as research analyst at Perceptive Life Sciences, Genesis Merchant Group and as an analyst in the investment-banking group at Cowen & Co. He has an MBA from the Wharton School and graduated with honors from UC Berkeley with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Molecular and Cell Biology and Economics.
He also is a CFA holder and has his series 79 and 63 licenses.
