Kevin Thorne

Kevin Thorne is the Chief Operating Officer of TriplePoint Capital.
He oversees TriplePoint’s Operations Group.
Mr. Thorne brings strong legal, investment and operating leadership experience along with a venture lending and leasing finance background.
Mr. Thorne has been an attorney for over 27 years and has spent over 24 years in the venture lending industry.
Mr. Thorne has been with TriplePoint Capital since 2005 in which he led and oversaw TriplePoint’s Documentation and Legal Groups and is currently overseeing TriplePoint’s Operations Group.
Prior to TriplePoint Capital, Mr. Thorne worked with TriplePoint Capital’s two co-founders, Mr. Labe and Mr. Srivastava at Comdisco Ventures where he documented and negotiated venture lending and leasing transactions and oversaw legal diligence.
Prior to Comdisco Ventures Mr. Thorne was in-house counsel for Pacific Concessions, Inc. and was an associate attorney at Bledsoe Cathcart Law Firm working directly with its senior partner.
Mr. Thorne is a member of the California Bar Association and holds a Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from San Jose State University.
