Monashee seeks to provide consistently stronger returns than the broader equity markets by investing systematically in the equity and convertible debt securities of companies raising new equity capital globally or via secondary offerings, block trades, registered direct offerings and PIPEs where a significant shareholder seeks to sell a secondary position. The firm will seek to capture the discount inherent in equity new issues, including both offerings by companies that are already publicly traded (follow-ons) and initial public offerings (IPOs).
