Lincoln Vale is an active manager which seeks to generate alpha by performing in-depth original research to invest globally in hedge funds, funds of hedge funds, special opportunities and private equity. The firm aims to create and offer high-alpha, low-beta fund strategies characterized by opportunities dependent on information that is difficult to obtain and/or analyze; unusual deal sourcing; natural diversification augmented by robust risk management; complex transactions; specific management expertise; risk-controlled, constructive activist equity hedge funds or European small- and mid-cap publicly traded equities. Lincoln Vale takes a centralized approach to risk management, designed from inception as a purely independent function. Risk control decisions are taken within the total fund management process, but in extreme cases, outside of the fund at firm level. The result is that investment management and risk management are integral, complimentary and of equal importance. The risk mandates and controls vary across the funds. Since each fund has different risk issues, risk parameters vary as well. Lincoln Vale typically takes significant minority stakes in their private equity transactions, partnering with investee management to unlock value through financial, operational and strategic re-structuring or by acting as a catalyst for public to private buyout transactions.

Beacon Equity Partners invests in companies in Europe and the United States. The firm invests in technology companies, especially in fintech opportunities. It participates in early to late stage equity requirements and acquisitions, with an investment between USD 3 million and 20 million.
