Mr. James W.
Gray, CFA, is a Chief Strategy Officer at Greenleaf Trust.
He works closely with other members of Greenleaf Trust’s Executive Council in creating, communicating, executing and sustaining the company’s strategic plan.
He has also led the company’s research, wealth management and personal trust divisions.
He has an extensive background in investments, global banking and manufacturing, and spent nearly two decades at Whirlpool Financial Corporation and Whirlpool Corporation.
He serves on the Investment Committee of the Western Michigan University Foundation Board.
Mr. Gray was employed as a Principal by Prudential Bache Securities, Inc. and a Principal by Whirlpool Financial Corp.
Mr. Gray earned a Finance degree from the University of Southern Indiana, is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of West Michigan.
