Lawrence McIntyre Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel J.
Lawrence McIntyre was named vice president, secretary and general counsel of The Toro Company in 1993.
He has overall responsibility for all legal, patent, environment, health and safety, and compliance at Toro.
McIntyre came to Toro from the St. Paul and Minneapolis, MN., law firm of Doherty Rumble Butler, where he began his law career in 1967.
His specialties were corporate finance, including securities law, corporate law, municipal bonds, corporate acquisitions and insurance.
He served as Toro’s outside legal counsel from the early 1970’s until his appointment to Toro.
McIntyre earned a B. A. degree in philosophy from the College of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn., and graduated cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School, LLB.
