Dennis Charney

Charney is currently the Director of AMDeC Foundation, Inc., New York Genome Center, Mount Sinai Genomics, Inc., and CastleVax, Inc. He is also the Dean of Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai since 2004 and the President-Academic Affairs of The Mount Sinai Health System, Inc. since 2013.
Previously, he was the Chairman-Scientific Counselors Board at the National Institute of Mental Health.
He also served as a Professor at Yale University from 1990 to 2000.
Charney received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers State University of New Jersey and his doctorate from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine.
He was an Independent Director at GeneDx Holdings Corp.
from 2021 to 2023.
