Chris McLellan

As Chief Security Officer for Hubspot, Inc., Chris McLellan is responsible for all security and risk management, this includes all physical, logical, infrastructure and application security.
His focus in developing a technology risk management program that allowed HubSpot to IPO, become SOX compliant and implement scalable risk management processes to support future growth.
Before joining HubSpot Chris was Vice President Risk and Compliance, Enterprise Technology Services at State Street Corporation.
His responsibilities included the development and management of the Enterprise Technology Services Risk and Compliance program and global team management.
Prior to that he developed a business plan, secured initial funding as Founder and Board Member of Co3 Systems (now IBM Resilient) where he designed and developed SAAS incident response/breach management solution plan including an automated regulatory assessment process.
He was Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer for Fidelity Investments this role included all aspects of Technology Risk Management including the development of a comprehensive multi-year strategy to perform sustainable risk management and effectively manage potential risk exposures within the organization.
His time at Fidelity also included a served as Senior Vice President, Enterprise Applications Services, this role included responsibilities included the operations and infrastructure management of the Fidelity corporate services including Corporate Messaging, Wireless, Intranet, File Services, Collaboration Systems, Security Services, Identity Management, Regulatory Response, Database, Middleware and Midrange Services.
