Dr. Gluskin holds a Ph.D.
in mathematics from the Moscow State University, USSR.
Prior to joining the investment industry, Dr. Gluskin was a consultant in mathematics and computer applications, a university lecturer, and a tax accountant.
He started building mathematical models for investment activities in 1974, and joined the investment industry full time in 1980 as an analyst at Burns Fry (now BMO Nesbitt Burns).
In 1988, Dr. Gluskin switched to full-time management of investment portfolios.
He co-founded Alexander Gluskin Investments Inc. in 1990.
Our firm started operating in March of 1991.
Dr. Gluskin makes all investment decisions at our firm.
Even when he is away from the office (and, possibly, out of the country), he remains in close contact with other members of our team, and directs our investment activities.
