Mr. Akash Prakash is a Founder & Chief Executive Officer at Amansa Capital Pte Ltd. and at Amansa Capital Pte Ltd. With extensive experience spanning over 30 years in the India securities markets, he leads the investment team and directs the investment process when determining the investment ideas for inclusion in the portfolio.
He also manages the overall market risk and acts as the Chief Investment Officer / Portfolio Manager for Amansa Funds’ investment portfolio.
Prior to founding Amansa Capital, he was Director of Investments, India for Temasek Holdings – the investment vehicle of the Government of Singapore.
He spent 6 years as a Portfolio Manager for GIC – The Government of Singapore Investment Corporation, where he managed US, Pan-Asian and Indian investment portfolios.
He also spent 6 years in the 1990s with Morgan Stanley Asset Management where he was an Executive Director and Portfolio Manager of the Morgan Stanley Growth Fund.
AHe has been investing in India since 1990.
He has an MBA from IIM in Ahmedabad, India and a Bachelor of Commerce from Bombay University.
