Adebayo Kazeem

Adebayo Kazeem is the Head of West Africa for Convergence Partners based in Lagos, Nigeria.
Prior to joining Convergence Partners, Bayo spent 6 years as a Principal with the Carlyle sub-Saharan Africa Fund focused on Africa buyout and growth opportunities, and portfolio management.
He spent 6 years at Renaissance Capital, as a Director focused on origination and execution of SSA transactions.
He was previously at Lehman Brothers in the London based investment banking team where he focused on the European natural resources sector and prior to that Solutions Architect for Micromuse Limited (an IBM company providing enterprise software).
Bayo holds an M.B.A. from INSEAD; an M.Sc.
Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College, London; and a B.Sc.
Mechanical Engineering from the University of Lagos.
