Dr. Sam Haidar is a Director of Quantitative Research & Analysis at Manulife Investment Management Ltd. and a Chief Executive Officer at 3H Technology LLC.
He oversees direct-to-consumer investment models and algorithms; he also supports the development of various quantitative models within the multi-asset solutions team.
Before joining the firm, Dr. Haidar was a senior equity quantitative researcher at MFS, where he was responsible for multifactor models.
While there, he contributed to the development of an MFS family of investment products that combines fundamental and quantitative research.
Previously, he was a senior financial engineer at Smartleaf.
He received his undergraduate degree from National Technical University of Ukraine, a graduate degree from National Technical University of Ukraine and a doctorate degree from Moscow Power Engineering Institute.
