Rupinder S. Sidhu

Mr. Sidhu is a co-founder of Arena.
Prior to joining Arena, he was the Managing Member of Merion Capital Management, LLC, a private investment firm with headquarters in New York City.
Before Merion, Mr. Sidhu was with Merrill Lynch, in the leveraged buyout unit in the firm's mergers and acquisitions department.
In 1984, Mr. Sidhu was one of the founding partners of MLCP, the management company for MLCP Fund I, a $402 million private equity fund, the first such fund sponsored by a major investment bank.
In 1989, Mr. Sidhu was named Managing Director of Merrill Lynch, and MLCP Fund II, a $1.5 billion private equity fund, was established.
Before joining Merrill Lynch, Mr. Sidhu was with the Prudential Insurance Company in the Corporate Finance Department, where he specialized in lending to large and medium-sized corporations as well as investing in leverage buyouts.
Mr. Sidhu received his M.B.A. from the University of Massachusetts (1977) and attended the University of Illinois in the Ph.D.
program.
He received his graduate degree at St. Stephen's College (1975).
Mr. Sidhu is a director of Alliance Mortgage Company and CMI Industries, Inc.
