Ronald Cheung

Mr. Ronald Cheung, CFA, is a Partner at Optimas Capital Ltd. and a Partner at Optimas Capital Ltd. He has over 24 years of experience in Greater China equity markets.
Mr. Cheung headed all HK based Equity sales (HK/China and Regional) at Credit Suisse, and is also responsible for the Equity sales efforts at Credit Suisse Founders (China onshore platform) until Nov 2017.
Prior to Credit Suisse, he was the Head of Hong Kong and China Equity Sales at UBS, responsible for managing a sales team of 15 people, in Hong Kong and UBS securities (UBS joint venture entity in A shares) in Shanghai.
He was also responsible for strategizing and supervising institutional clients coverage for both HK/China and A share markets.
Prior to UBS, he spent 2 years with the Mergers and Acquisitions department in the Investment Banking division of Merrill Lynch, New York as a fnancial analyst.
He completed his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Pennsylvania, in the Huntsman International Studies and Business program, double majoring in Business (Finance and Accounting concentrations in the Wharton School of Business) and International Studies.
Ronald is a CFA Charter holder.
