Robb Moss

Mr. Moss brings over 25 years of oil and gas experience to Acumen, having worked throughout his career in both a geo-technical and financial capacity.
As a wellsite geologist, he worked extensively in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin, particularly west of the fifth and sixth meridians, including the Deep Basin area of north west Alberta and the Peace River Arch region of northern Alberta.
Mr. Moss also worked on a number of oil and gas exploration projects in the Canadian Beaufort Sea for Imperial Oil, Canada and offshore Kenya, East Africa for Cities Service, Houston.
His primary responsibilities included geological field operations supervision and formation evaluation.
As an oil and gas analyst, Mr. Moss worked primarily as a consultant, providing independent oil and gas research and analysis for high net worth investors and fund managers.
He has written numerous oil and gas related articles for a number of publications, including Investor’s Digest of Canada, Oilweek Magazine and Houston based, Hart’s Oil and Gas Investor magazine.
Mr. Moss graduated with honours from the University of Windsor, and further earned a certificate in Petroleum Exploration Technology from the Petroleum Exploration Institute in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
He is a CFA charterholder and member of the CFA Institute.
