Dr. Philipp Schmitz has been responsible for the research of the alphaport strategy since 2015.
He worked for four and a half years as a research assistant to Prof.
Dr. Dr. h.c.
Martin Weber at the University of Mannheim.
Prof.
Dr. Schmitz gained practical experience from 2008 to 2014 while working as a portfolio manager at Oppenheim Kapitalanlagegesellschaft, where he was responsible for the implementation and further development of dynamic asset allocation mandates.
Prof.
Dr. Schmitz studied business administration at RWTH Aachen University and completed in 2007 his doctorate in the field of Behavioral Finance at the University of Mannheim.
