Martin Gilbert

Martin Gilbert has four decades of leadership experience in the global asset management industry.
Martin served as the co-founder & CEO of Aberdeen Asset Management during the period of 1983-2017.
Martin also serves as Chairman of Revolut Limited and Toscafund, and as the Senior Independent Director at Glencore plc.
He previously served as Chairman of the UK’s Prudential Regulation Authority’s Practitioner Panel as well as a member of the International Advisory Panel of the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
Martin graduated from Aberdeen University in 1978 with a MA in Accountancy and LLB in Law before qualifying as a Chartered Accountant at Deloitte.
He is also an Adjunct Professor of Finance at Imperial College Business School.
