Perfectis is an active, relationship-driven manager which aims to help investee company management teams achieve significant capital gains for shareholders by providing equity, expertise and strategic advice throughout the period of investment. The firm invests in established French businesses with clear internal or external growth prospects and enterprise values ranging from €10 million to €45 million. Typically, target companies will have turnover of between €15 million and €150 million. Perfectis invests primarily in MBOs, MBIs and OBOs, but also occasionally in development capital transactions. The firm primarily seeks majority shareholding positions in target companies, but occasionally takes significant minority shareholdings. They typically invest between €2-€18 million in businesses with a trustworthy management team, a good track record, a sound and clear financial track record with reasonable downside protection and an attractive market position, proven growth potential through organic growth and/or add-on acquisitions and the potential for Perfectis to add value as a proactive investor. The firm partners with investee companies, seeking to provide clear strategic direction, assist in sourcing and executing add-on acquisitions and buy and build strategies, enhance the management team, and improve the quality of the firm's reporting and organizational structure. Perfectis generally completes an average of four investments per year and some 12-15 investments per fund.
