James Aldige

Mr. James G.
Aldige is a Founder & Chief Executive Officer at Clio Asset Management LLC (Virginia).
He maintains responsibility for all investment and operational activities.
Prior to founding Clio in 2018, Mr. Aldige was a co-founder of Ivy Road Partners.
Ivy Road was a full-service investment office, providing endowment-style asset management for families and affiliated foundations.
As one of three Managing Partners, he served as the Head of Public Investments.
Prior to co-founding Ivy Road, James spent seven years at Tiger Eye Capital.
At Tiger Eye, Mr. Aldige was a Partner and Managing Director and held primary responsibility for the fund’s investments in the tech/media/telecom, consumer/retail, and business services sectors.
Prior to Tiger Eye, he was an investment banking associate in the London office of Merrill Lynch & Co. Mr. Aldige holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, as well as an MPhil with distinction in Economic History from Oxford University.
He holds a BA with high distinction in Economics and History from the University of Virginia (UVA).
