Ibrahim Morsi

Ibrahim Fawzy Abdul Wahed Morsi is currently the Chairman of Egyptians Housing Development & Reconstruction, Chairman & Managing Director of ODIN Investments (Egypt), Chairman of Egyptians Real Estate Fund, Director of Egyptians Abroad for Portfolio Management SAE, and Professor-Emeritus at the University of Cairo.
He is also the President of Fawzy Consultant Group since 1999.
In the past, Dr. Morsi served as the Chairman, President & Chief Executive Officer of The General Authority for Investment & Free Zones from 1996 to 2000.
He was also the Chairman of Gharbia Islamic Housing Development.
Additionally, he held the position of Non-Executive Director at NextGen Healthcare, Inc. from 2007 to 2010 and served as a Director at Electrolux Egypt for Home Appliances SAE.
From 2010 to 2016, he was an Independent Non-Executive Director at HSBC Bank Egypt SAE.
He also served as a Non-Executive Director at Sues Canal Co. for Technology Settling.
Currently, he is an Independent Non-Executive Director at Centamin Plc, a position he will hold until 2024.
In terms of education, Dr. Morsi obtained a doctorate degree from University College London in 1968 and an undergraduate degree from the University of Cairo in 1962.
