He had been Chief Financial Officer of CNX Gas since June 30, 2005 and Senior Vice President since December 5, 2005.
Mr. Bench is a Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tax Executive Institute.
Previously, he was Vice President of Tax for Consol Energy, Inc. from April 11, 2005 to August 8, 2005, Controller of Tax from June 1, 2002 to April 11, 2005 and General Manager of Tax from July 1, 1999 to June 1, 2002.
Mr. Bench joined Consol Energy in 1985.
He received a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Master's degree in Taxation from Robert Morris University.
