Douglas M.
Atkin is the founder of Efficient Frontiers, Inc. (founded in 2002) and Z-Work Acquisition Corp.
(founded in 2020).
He is currently the Executive Co-Chairman & Co-Chief Executive Officer at Z-Work Acquisition Corp.
He also holds current positions as a Director at Binary Event Network, Inc. and the Lauri Strauss Leukemia Foundation.
In the past, Mr. Atkin served as the President & Chief Executive Officer of Instinet Group, Inc. from 1992 to 2002.
He was also the President & Chief Executive Officer of Majestic Research Corp.
from 2004 to 2008.
Additionally, he held director positions at TIBCO Software, Inc. and Tamale Software, Inc. From 2008 to 2019, he served as a Director at Selerity, Inc. and held director positions at CreditSights, Inc., StarMine Corp., and Cinchcast, Inc. He was an Executive Co-Investor at BV-Cornerstone Ventures and a Board Member at WR Hambrecht + Co. LLC.
From 2010 to 2014, he worked as a Portfolio Manager at Guggenheim Partners LLC.
Mr. Atkin obtained his undergraduate degree from Tufts University in 1984.
