Bednar Chris joined ASI as Controller in March 2017, and brings over 30 years of experience primarily in the areas of Accounting Operations, Financial Controls and Financial Reporting & Analysis.
Prior to joining ASI, Chris served for 12 years (2005-2017) as Corporate Controller for The Spectranetics Corporation, a publicly-held manufacturer of medical devices marketed worldwide.
During his tenure at Spectranetics (also based in Colorado Springs), Chris was responsible for leading the building of an accounting/reporting team commensurate with revenue growth from $38M in 2005 to $270M in 2016.
He also participated in due diligence for multiple acquisitions as well as three public debt/equity raises.
Chris’ other significant experience includes 10 years (1988-1998) with Lam Research Corporation in Fremont, CA, a publicly-held equipment supplier to the global semiconductor manufacturing industry with revenue of over $1 billion.
He held a number of finance and accounting positions there, including Director of Corporate Accounting.
Chris began his career at the international CPA firm of Ernst & Whinney (now Ernst & Young) from 1982-1988.
