Betsy is a passionate communications professional who is committed to applying her expertise to purposeful, mission-driven initiatives.
In her role at Breakthrough Energy, Betsy leads the development and implementation of the internal communication strategy.
She strives to create impactful campaigns that foster collaboration, deliver information, and ensure engagement across the organization.
Before joining Breakthrough, Betsy worked at Smartwool, a VF Company, where she spearheaded marketing campaigns that emphasized the brand’s commitment to social and environmental responsibility.
Prior to that, Betsy spent five years at Hilton, managing internal communications campaigns and events that improved employee engagement and company culture.
Betsy earned her degree in Journalism and Sociology from the University of Colorado, Boulder, where she currently resides.
In her free time, she enjoys skiing, hiking, cooking, and spending time with her dog, Waylon.
