Alex Piskunov

Mr. Alex Piskunov, CFA MBA, is a Senior Analyst & Execution Trader at Meteora Capital LLC.
Prior to joining the firm, he was Vice President of Sales and Trading at American Veterans Group and an Equity Trader at Twin Capital where he focused on trading equities and equity derivatives across various investment strategies including special situations and merger arbitrage.
Before Twin Capital, Mr. Piskunov served as a Trade Support Manager at UBS assisting multiple trading pods within the Delta One division.
He began his career at Point72, L.P., (f/k/a SAC Capital Advisors, LLC) as an Operations Analyst providing support to the investment associates with real-time pricing of complex OTC securities, a wide spectrum of derivatives, and fixed-income financial instruments.
Mr. Piskunov earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics magna cum laude from Samarkand State University.
He is a CFA charter holder and earned an MBA from the University of South Alabama.
