Alastair George

Mr. Alastair George is an Investment Strategist at Edison Investment Research Ltd. He has extensive experience, having worked in global markets as a fund manager and risk arbitrageur since the 1990s.
He started his career at Goldman Sachs where he worked in equity research as an investment strategist.
He has over a decade of buy-side experience, primarily as a senior event-driven portfolio manager at Lehman Brothers.
In his role at Edison he is focused on delivering disciplined, value-based and actionable investment strategies.
He is a Swiss resident and the founder of Infinite Variance, a boutique investment firm affiliated to the Association Romande des Intermédiaires Financiers.
Mr. George has a first in Engineering and an MSc in statistical pattern recognition, both from Oxford University.
