Sybil Yang

Ms. Yang is a General Partner at Crystal Ventures.
Before joining Crystal, she spent five years as Chief Investment Officer of Yageo Group.
While at Yageo, she oversaw both direct investments of various hi-tech firms and venture capital funds, having served in several venture-backed private companies as well as public companies.
She was also one of the key drivers of Yageo's efforts to divest and realign its investment portfolios, involving or directing several major divesture of equity shares and subsidiaries.
Prior to Yageo, Ms. Yang spent over seven years at Barings Securities and other major brokerage houses.
Her professional skills on stock valuations and industry research have earned her a respectful reputation.
She was Barings' Asia-Pacific regional analyst and the research head in Taiwan.
Prior to that, Ms. Yang spent six years in Far Eastern Group's Far Eastern Textile, where she focused on budgeting, project finance, market planning, and sales.
Ms. Yang holds a CFA license and earned and MBA from the California State University at Los Angles.
She holds a B.A. in Business Administration from National Cheng Chi University in Taipei, Taiwan.
